Colombia Isabella Gomez is an accomplished actress known for her significant roles in popular television series and films.

Gomez joined Fiercely Latina, a group of women in Hollywood whose goal is to increase Hispanic representation in front of and behind the cameras.
Isabella Gomez was born in Medellin, Colombia, in 1998. She began her involvement in the entertainment industry at the age of five, working on commercials. At ten, her family relocated to Florida, where she continued her formal training in acting. In 2015, Gomez and her family moved to Los Angeles to further her acting career ambitions. Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, she secured a role in “Matador” (2014) and made a guest appearance in “Modern Family” (2009).
Gomez gained wider recognition for her starring role as Elena Álvarez in the Netflix sitcom “One Day at a Time” (2017-2020), a performance that earned her an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition in 2020 for “Outstanding Performance in a Television Series.” Following her work on “One Day at a Time,” she took on the main role of Alicia Adams in the HBO Max reboot of “Head of the Class” (2021). Her career progressed to include a recurring role as Carmen in the tenth season of “The Goldbergs” (2022-2023).
