Jules Green, known by her stage name Jade Jolie, was born on November 2, 1986, and spent her early life in Fort Myers and Alachua, Florida. Her drag career began at the University Club in Gainesville, Florida, where she started performing. The name “Jade Jolie” is a combination inspired by the Mortal Kombat character Jade and actress Angelina Jolie. In 2013, Jolie was announced as a contestant on the fifth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” During her time on the show, she showcased her range as a performer, including an impersonation of Taylor Swift during the “Snatch Game” challenge, and reached the top eight before her elimination in the sixth episode. A notable moment from this period included a backstage argument with fellow contestant Alyssa Edwards during “Untucked,” which generated viral internet memes due to specific quotes and reactions.

Following her appearance on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Jolie continued to build her career. In 2017, she performed in a drag benefit show organized by Jaremi Carey (formerly Phi Phi O’Hara) to raise funds for Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico. Her talent for impersonating Taylor Swift led to significant opportunities, including a feature in Alaska Thunderfuck’s music video for “Snaked” in 2018, where she again portrayed Swift. A major career milestone occurred in 2019 when she appeared in Taylor Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video.
