Kyle Ensing is a talented American professional indoor volleyball player who plays in the Opposite Hitter position for the United States men’s national volleyball team. While at college at Long Beach State, he made the NCAA Final Four during all four years of his education from 2016 to 2019, and won NCAA Championship titles in both 2018 and 2019. He currently plays for the top-flight French club Saint-Nazaire Volley-Ball Atlantique. He has participated in several major international tournaments with the American national team, including an appearance as part of the 12-player 2020 Summer Olympics roster in Tokyo.
After making an incredible impression playing collegiately, Ensing started his career playing for the German club Berlin Recycling Volleys, with whom he won the German Volleyball Cup and German Super Cup during the 2019-2020 season. He then moved to the Israeli team Maccabi Tel Aviv and continued his dominance, helping them win the Israeli Premier League in both 2020 and 2021, as well as the Israeli Cup in 2021. At the international level, Ensing won silvers with his nation at the 2019 NORCECA Championship and 2022 FIVB Nations League, and a bronze medal at the 2018 FIVB Nations League.
A fantastic player with a formidable height of 6ft 7 in, Ensing is one of the most impactful players on the court right now.
