Jaliyah Manuel garnered significant attention online at age six, with her prodigious ball-handling videos reaching millions of views across platforms and quickly establishing her as a formidable young basketball talent. Manuel began cultivating her exceptional basketball skills at age four, coached by her father, Javon Manuel. Her early talent was widely recognized by prominent media outlets, including WWLTV and Sporting News, which highlighted her as a basketball phenomenon. Demonstrating her expanding brand, Manuel also modeled for esteemed sports brands such as Jordan and Nike, which eventually led to the development of her initial clothing brand, ‘Team Liyah’.

Manuel’s career progressed beyond the basketball court when she ventured into acting. In 2020, she made her film debut in ‘She Ball’, portraying the character Magic, the daughter of a character brought to life by Nick Cannon. This pivotal role expanded her public profile, showcasing her versatility beyond athletics. On the court, Manuel continued her competitive success, earning MVP honors at national AAU tournaments.

Following the success of her first brand, she further expanded her entrepreneurial pursuits with the launch of ‘Unconfined Apparel’, an apparel and accessories line. Currently, Manuel is a dedicated guard for the Hoover High Lady Bucs basketball team, where she is in her 10th grade year. She is committed to bringing infectious energy to her team and contributing to the Hoover legacy with aspirations for state championships. Manuel’s long-term goals include playing in the WNBA, drawing inspiration from basketball legends like Allen Iverson and Magic Johnson.
