After securing his first Archery World Cup win in Türkiye in 2019, James Lutz went on to claim the individual World Archery Championships title in the Netherlands later that same year, distinguishing himself as the fifth compound archer from the United States to achieve this feat. In a notable performance, he triumphed over Anders Faugstad of Norway in the final match. His early career also included participation in The Vegas Shoot in Las Vegas, United States, where he secured a 26th place finish in the highly competitive men’s compound event in 2020, further cementing his presence on the international archery stage.
