Jaqueline Cristian

Jaqueline Cristian, a professional Romanian tennis player, achieved a significant breakthrough in 2021 when she reached her first semifinal at a WTA Tour-level event at the Astana Open, subsequently breaking into the Top 100 rankings on November 8, 2021. Having turned professional in 2012, Cristian made her WTA Tour main-draw debut in the doubles event at the 2015 Bucharest Open. Following her Astana success, she reached her maiden WTA Tour final at the Upper Austria Ladies Linz in 2021, and her Grand Slam main-draw debut came at the 2022 Australian Open where she won her first-round match.
