Jay Cutler is a renowned American IFBB professional bodybuilder, best known for being a four-time Mr. Olympia winner. Born on August 3, 1973, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Cutler’s journey to the top of the bodybuilding world began as a football player for his high school team. However, after suffering an injury, he turned his focus to bodybuilding and quickly rose through the ranks.
Cutler achieved his first major win in 1999, when he won the Arnold Classic. Over the next several years, he rapidly ascended in the bodybuilding world, earning more than ten victories in prestigious competitions such as the Ironman Pro Invitational, the Dutch Grand Prix, and the Europa Supershow. In 2006, Cutler finally achieved his dream of winning the Mr. Olympia title, which he went on to defend in 2007, 2009, and 2010.
Throughout his career, Cutler became known for his impressive physique, characterized by strong, defined muscles and a symmetrical body shape. He was especially renowned for his highly developed back muscles, which he referred to as his “signature body part.” Cutler’s dedication to his craft was evident in his rigorous training regimen, which included up to six hours of weight training per day.
Offstage, Cutler’s interests and hobbies include playing basketball, reading voraciously, and traveling. He is also a highly successful entrepreneur and investor, with interests in supplements, apparel, and real estate.
After retiring from competitive bodybuilding in 2013, Cutler has continued to be a prominent figure in the fitness industry, often serving as a commentator for major bodybuilding events.
