Jayda Vallance is a Musical.ly (now TikTok) star from Canada. She has been certified as a ‘crown Muser’, an accolade that is given to those who create high-quality content and actively engage with followers and others in the Musical.ly community. Vallance has over 480,000 TikTok followers. In addition, she is a beauty blogger with a self-titled YouTube channel in which she gives makeup tutorials, including a video of her mascara regimen, which was requested by many of her followers.
Vallance made her acting debut in 2006 with ‘Ghostly Encounters,’ a horror television documentary hosted by Lawrence Chau. She appeared in two of the documentary’s episodes, first as Merle, a 9-year-old girl, in the episode ‘Ghosts That Banish Nightmares’, and then as Lisanne Bond in the 2009 episode ‘Ghosts of the Aged’.
Vallance made her social media debut using YouNow, a live video streaming application. However, she was unable to attract much attention, leading her to migrate to TikTok, where she quickly rose to fame, with millions of people becoming intrigued by her outstanding lip-sync and dance videos. Kristen Hancher, a TikTok celebrity and friend, has frequently collaborated with her. Her TikTok collaborations with fellow muser ‘Quinn Spurell’ have also received a lot of attention. Vallance uses her ‘Ask.fm’ account to answer queries from fans, as well as making personalized videos for her fans via the social media platform Cameo.
