August “Gussie” Busch is a breakout reality TV star famous for appearing on MTV’s Busch Family Brewed. The popular reality show follows the exploits of one of the richest families in America – the Busch family (the former owners of Anheuser-Busch), including Gussie (the middle child of the family) and patriarch and great-grandson of Adolphus Busch, Billy Busch Sr.

Although he was born into one of America’s most wealthy families, Busch has always followed his own path and after graduating from Priory High School in St. Louis joined the University of Alabama football program as a linebacker. After not seeing enough action during his freshman or sophomore seasons Busch transferred to Southern Methodist University in Dallas where he graduated with a degree in Sports Management, his family insisting he earned a university education despite their wealth.

Busch is also a talented polo player, like his father, and has played since the age of 12 winning a World Polo League tournament trophy in 2019, where he was named the Most Valuable Player. Even when he isn’t playing polo, fans of Busch Family Brewed have learned to expect a wild ride whenever the handsome Busch hits the screen, and the self-confessed ladies’ man has already become a firm fan favourite with viewers. The rising star has also taken the world of social media by storm, regularly posting his affection for sports and the outdoors on his popular Instagram account.
