Scottish singer and performer Jenna Lee-James has built her career in the heart of London’s West End, where her voice and stage presence have carried her through some of musical theatre’s most demanding roles. Raised in Scotland before making her mark on the London stage, she emerged as a performer capable of moving between rock-infused spectacle and classic family musical storytelling.
Her breakout came as Scaramouche in the West End production of “We Will Rock You,” the hit musical built around the songs of Queen. She went on to appear in “West End at Home,” a touring present that brought West End performances to theatres across the UK, including the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. She also played the Narrator in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at the Adelphi Theatre in London, appearing alongside Gareth Gates.
Among her most recognised achievements is her run as Elsa in “Frozen” the Musical in the West End, which she performed while Samantha Barks was on maternity leave — stepping into one of modern musical theatre’s highest-profile roles. With credits spanning Queen’s rock catalogue, Disney’s animated blockbuster, and the Adelphi’s storied stage, Lee-James remains a sought-after theatrical voice.
