Jessi Kamea

Jessie Elaban, known professionally as Jessi Kamea, was born on October 10, 1988, in the USA. Growing up as a military child, she experienced various locations and participated in multiple sports, including soccer, basketball, track, and volleyball. Her athletic background led to a scholarship for volleyball at Concordia University. This foundation in competitive sports prepared her for the physical demands of professional wrestling.

In 2017, Kamea transitioned her athletic focus to professional wrestling, joining the WWE Performance Center. Despite being new to the sport, her natural athleticism and physical presence quickly garnered attention. She debuted in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, a significant tournament for women in wrestling, and competed against established talents such as Mia Yim, Dakota Kai, and Ember Moon. Her appearances during this period were primarily under the names Jessie Elaban and Jessi Kamea. From 2018 to 2021, she was consistently featured in WWE NXT, appearing in 41 episodes. During this time, she was also part of various stables, including the Robert Stone Brand and In Crowd, and made appearances on WWE Smackdown! (12 episodes from 2018-2020) and WWE Raw (8 episodes in 2020).

Following her time with WWE, Kamea continued to evolve her career, working with World Wonder Ring Stardom from April to June 2023, where she joined Club Venus. Currently, she performs on the independent circuit under the ring name Jessie, a role she commenced in September 2023. Her career reflects a consistent engagement in professional wrestling, marked by a progression through significant promotions and associations with various wrestling factions.
