Jessie Odb Kresa

Jessica Nora Kresa, better known by her professional wrestling persona ODB (One Dirty Bitch), was born on June 6, 1978, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Her early life included an athletic background in ice hockey, a sport her father encouraged her to pursue. She captained her high school’s first girls’ team and played at St. Cloud State University for two years. Kresa’s interest in professional wrestling began in childhood, drawing inspiration from wrestlers like The Killer Bees. Before pursuing wrestling, she aspired to be on the show American Gladiators and hired a personal trainer in preparation for her wrestling training.

Kresa’s professional wrestling career began after she tried out for the first season of WWE’s reality show, “WWF Tough Enough,” making it to the top 25. Returning to Minnesota, she trained and wrestled in independent promotions, facing male wrestlers. She gained national exposure in 2003 as ODB in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), later returning as Poison in 2004. During her time in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) from 2006 to 2007, she established her ODB persona and became the inaugural OVW Women’s Champion, holding the title twice. She also won the “Miss OVW” crown in 2007, and was encouraged by Triple H to sign with TNA.

Her most significant career period was with TNA Wrestling, where she became a four-time TNA Women’s Knockout Champion and a one-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion. She debuted at Bound for Glory in 2007 and, despite being a villain initially, her comedic “drunken” antics garnered positive crowd reactions, leading to a fan-favorite push. Kresa feuded with prominent figures like The Beautiful People and formed alliances, notably with Eric Young. Post-wrestling, she transitioned into entrepreneurship, owning and operating ODB’s Meat & Greet Food Truck, known for its barbecue. She also appeared on television shows like “Off the Hook: Extreme Catches” and “My Family Recipe Rocks,” sharing her recipes and journey.
