Jo Firestone

Jo Firestone is an American actress, comedian, and writer known for her work on television, in live performance, and in podcasts. After earning a Capital Fringe Festival Director’s Award for her co-written, performed, and directed piece ‘Ridgefield Middle School Talent Nite’ in 2010, Jo Firestone quickly established herself as a dynamic talent in live comedy, regularly performing at the UCB Theater in Manhattan and across New York City. Firestone transitioned into television, serving as a writer and producer for ‘The Special Without Brett Davis’ from 2015 to 2017. She then joined the esteemed writing staff of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ from 2016 to 2018, contributing to 144 episodes and making multiple on-screen appearances in various sketches.

In these key roles, she has contributed to 53 episodes as head writer and 30 episodes as co-executive producer, playing a pivotal part in shaping the comedic direction and production of the new series.
