Joel Rush was born on August 26, 1981, in Logansport, Indiana, USA. He began his public career in 2009 as the runner-up on the first season of the ABC competition reality show “True Beauty.” This early exposure provided a foundation for his subsequent work in television and film. He quickly started securing acting roles, including a recurring role on the NBC daytime soap opera “Days of Our Lives” from 2009 to 2011, where he appeared in 7 episodes as an Assistant Manager and Chez Rouge Patron. Throughout this period, Rush also made guest appearances in several other television series, expanding his experience across different productions.
His career gained significant momentum with his casting as Edward ‘Eddie’ Willis in the Oprah Winfrey Network prime time soap opera, “If Loving You Is Wrong.” He held this role from 2014 to 2017, appearing in 61 episodes and becoming well-known for the character.
