Joey King

Joey King began her professional acting career at the age of four, marked by a national commercial for Life Cereal. She gained early experience in various television shows such as “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (2000), “Entourage” (2004), and “Medium” (2005). Her first film role was in “Grace” (2006) at six years old, an experience she described as hooking her on filmmaking. She lent her voice to animated features including “Horton Hears a Who!” (2008) as Katie and later as China Girl in “Oz the Great and Powerful” (2013). A significant career milestone occurred when she secured her first lead role at nine years old as Ramona Quimby in “Ramona and Beezus” (2010), a role that she credits with changing her life. Her performance in this film earned her a Young Artist Award.
