Jordan Casanova

Jordan Casanova is a professional jazz dancer recognized for her performances on “So You Think You Can Dance” and various dance productions. After gaining significant public attention in 2011 when she participated in the eighth season of the reality television dance competition ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’ Jordan Casanova established herself as a versatile jazz dancer. Competing from California, she progressed through various stages of the demanding competition, reaching the highly competitive Top 8 and consistently showcasing her abilities across diverse dance styles. Throughout her run on ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’ Casanova performed routines choreographed by notable figures in the dance industry.

Her performances included a critically acclaimed contemporary routine with Tadd Gadduang choreographed by Emmy Award-winning Travis Wall, a vibrant Broadway routine with Jess LeProtto choreographed by Tyce Diorio, and an engaging African Jazz piece, also with Tadd Gadduang, choreographed by Sean Cheesman. She further demonstrated her technical prowess and artistry through solo performances, including one set to ‘Tonight’ by Lykke Li, which highlighted her capability to adapt to varied choreographic demands and personal expression. Following her successful participation in ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’ Jordan Casanova continued to build her career. In 2011, she joined the official ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ tour, performing across the United States with other finalists from her season.
