Jordan Casanova

Jordan Casanova, born on June 15, 1992, in Chino Hills, California, established herself as a jazz dancer from an early age. Her career gained significant public attention in 2011 when she participated in the eighth season of the reality television dance competition “So You Think You Can Dance.” Competing as a jazz dancer from California, she progressed through various stages of the competition, showcasing her abilities in diverse dance styles. She reached the Top 8 of the competition, demonstrating a consistent performance level.

Throughout her time on “So You Think You Can Dance,” Casanova performed routines choreographed by notable figures in the dance industry. Her performances included a contemporary routine with Tadd Gadduang choreographed by Travis Wall, a Broadway routine with Jess LeProtto choreographed by Tyce Diorio, and an African Jazz piece with Tadd Gadduang choreographed by Sean Cheesman. She also performed solos, including one to “Tonight” by Lykke Li. These experiences contributed to her development as a versatile dancer capable of adapting to different choreographic demands.
