Jorgeous

Jorgeous, born Jorge Meza on November 28, 1999, in San Antonio, Texas, developed an interest in drag performance from a young age. Raised in a Mexican American family in West San Antonio, she began performing in gay bars at the age of 16. Her stage name, “Jorgeous,” is a combination of her birth name, Jorge, and the word “gorgeous.” This early start in the performance scene provided her with significant experience before her wider television appearances.

Her career progressed with her participation in reality television. In 2022, Jorgeous gained national recognition as a contestant on season 14 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, where she became known for her lip-syncing abilities. During her time on the show, she reached the top six. Following her initial appearance, she joined the Werq the World tour and became a cast member of the RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! variety show in Las Vegas. She has also appeared in various media projects, including a tribute to Jennifer Lopez at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Jorgeous further solidified her presence in the drag community by competing on two subsequent seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. She was announced as a contestant for season 9 in April 2024, placing 4th, and again for season 10 in April 2025, where she achieved Runner-Up status. These competitive appearances have maintained her visibility and demonstrated her ongoing commitment to her drag career.
