Dubbed by many as the new “King of Pop”, Justin Timberlake is one of the biggest music stars on the planet. Timberlake rose to fame as a member of one of the bestselling boy bands of all time *NSYNC, and has since gone on to establish a glittering career as a solo artist and an actor. He is the winner of two Grammy Awards, one for his debut solo album, 2002’s R&B focussed Justified and a second for the smash hit single ‘Cry Me a River’ from the same album.
Hailing from Tennessee, Timberlake rose to fame as a child star appearing on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club. Timberlake then became lead vocalist in the hugely successful band *NSYNC, before leaving to embark on his solo career.
His 2002 Grammy-award winning debut album was followed by the critically acclaimed FutureSex/LoveSounds, an album which topped the U.S. Billboard 200 on its release. The album also delivered several number-one hit tracks including the moody ‘What Goes Around… Comes Around’ and ‘SexyBack’. Timberlake’s first two albums sold over 10 million copies, but he had a break from music whilst he concentrated on his acting career starring in several movies between 2008 and 2012 including Bad Teacher and The Social Network.
Since returning to music the hits have continued to roll in for Timberlake, with third album The 20/20 Experience becoming the bestselling album of the year in the US. 2016 saw Timberlake provide his voice acting talents to DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls, which also featured Timberlake’s smash hit single ‘Cant’ Stop the Feeling’. In 2018 Man of the Woods became his fourth US number one album. Timberlake has sold over 56 million singles and 32 million albums globally throughout his remarkable solo career, establishing himself as a true music legend.
