Jyothi Surekha Vennam is an accomplished Indian compound archer and a mentor to aspiring athletes in the sport. After securing a bronze medal at the 2011 Asian Archery Championships in Tehran, Iran, Jyothi Surekha Vennam went on to establish herself as one of India’s most decorated compound archers. Her prodigious athletic talent was evident early on, achieving a notable feat in 2001 by swimming 5 km across the Krishna River in just over three hours, earning her a place in the Limca Book of Records. Transitioning to archery, she quickly excelled, securing two bronze medals at the 2013 World Archery Youth Championships in Wuxi, China.
With a total of five gold, eight silver, and seven bronze medals from Archery World Cup events, Vennam continues to be a leading figure in the sport, also serving as a mentor to aspiring athletes.
