Katherine Lanasa

Katherine LaNasa is an acclaimed actress and former dancer, recognized for her versatility across television and film, including an Emmy-winning performance. After contributing choreography to the 1989 film Rooftops, Katherine LaNasa made her feature film debut with a role in 1990’s Catchfire. Her early career in the 1990s included guest appearances across notable television series, establishing her presence in the entertainment industry. She secured a lead role in the NBC sitcom Three Sisters, appearing from 2001 to 2002, and continued to build her film credits with roles in Alfie (2004) and the ensemble romantic comedy Valentine’s Day (2010).

LaNasa further diversified her film portfolio in the 2010s, starring in Jayne Mansfield’s Car (2012), The Campaign (2012), and The Frozen Ground (2013). Concurrently, her television presence grew with appearances in series such as Love Monkey (2006), 12 Miles of Bad Road (2006-2008), and Deception (2013). She then joined the cast of the USA Network drama Satisfaction as a series regular from 2014 to 2015, showcasing her ability to portray complex characters in various genres. Maintaining a prolific pace, LaNasa became a series regular on Bravo’s Imposters from 2017 to 2018.

Her television work continued with a recurring role as Ada Stone in The CW’s Dynasty in 2018, and a consistent presence in Apple TV+’s Truth Be Told from 2019 to 2023. Further expanding her range, she also held a series regular role in The CW’s musical dramedy Katy Keene in 2020. Most recently, Katherine LaNasa delivered a career-defining performance as Nurse Dana Evans in the HBO Max medical drama The Pitt, which premiered in 2025. Her critically acclaimed portrayal in The Pitt earned her the prestigious Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2025, marking a significant milestone and solidifying her reputation for compelling dramatic television.
