Born on February 3, 1965, in Los Angeles, California, she embarked on her acting career with a breakout performance in the comedy film “Hardbodies” (1984). Kinmont gained widespread recognition as Kelly Meeker in the horror classic “Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers” (1988), showcasing her talent in the genre.

Her illustrious television career includes a notable stint on the soap opera “Santa Barbara,” where she portrayed Marilyn Cassidy in 1992. However, it was her compelling role as Cheyenne Phillips in the syndicated television series “Renegade” (1992-1996) that solidified her status as a television star.
