Kelli Finglass transitioned from a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader to the Director of the organization, overseeing brand development, sponsorships, and media productions. After a groundbreaking five-year tenure as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader (DCC) where she became the first member invited back to the team without re-auditioning, Kelli Finglass transitioned into a leadership role as Assistant Director for the organization in 1989. Following a year in that capacity and an impactful period in the Dallas Cowboys organization’s sales and promotions department, Finglass was swiftly promoted to Director of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in 1991. She originally joined the squad in 1984, serving with distinction until her retirement as a cheerleader in 1989.
She serves as the creative producer for the widely televised DCC halftime events, captivating millions of viewers annually. Demonstrating her expertise in reality television production, she served as an Executive Producer for the highly successful series ‘Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team,’ which chronicled the squad’s rigorous audition process across 16 seasons from 2006 to 2021. Her on-screen career includes an appearance as herself in Robert Altmans 2000 feature film, ‘Dr. T & the Women.’ Most recently, Finglass has captivated audiences appearing on Netflix’s ‘America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders,’ a critically acclaimed docuseries that delves into the squad’s history and current operations, drawing significant viewership.
