Kelly Rutherford

Kelly Rutherford, born on November 6, 1968, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, is an American actress with a career spanning several decades. She started her acting journey in daytime soap operas, appearing on ‘Loving’ in 1987 and later securing a regular role on ‘Generations’ from 1989 to 1991. Her early career also included joining the cast of the ABC drama ‘Homefront’ in 1992, where she played Judy Owen. Rutherford’s television presence continued to grow with a significant role as Dixie Cousins on the Fox series ‘The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.’ from 1993 to 1994, where her character evolved into the primary love interest for Brisco. These initial roles established her in the television landscape and showcased her versatility across different formats.

Her career progressed with notable appearances in various television series and films. Rutherford starred as Frankie Collet in ‘The Great Defender’ (1995) and as Caitlyn Byrne in ‘Kindred: The Embraced’ (1996). A pivotal role came in 1996 as Megan Lewis on the Fox primetime soap opera ‘Melrose Place’, a character she portrayed until 1999 across 90 episodes. In film, she appeared in ‘I Love Trouble’ (1994) and the horror film ‘Scream 3’ (2000) as Christine Hamilton. From 2003 to 2004, she was Special Agent Frankie Ellroy-Kilmer in ‘Threat Matrix’ and later Samantha ‘Sonny’ Liston in ‘E-Ring’ (2005-2006).
