Kenny Britt

Kenneth Lawrence Britt was born on September 19, 1988, in Bayonne, New Jersey. He pursued his college football career at Rutgers University, where he quickly established himself as a prominent wide receiver. As a true freshman in 2006, Britt played a crucial role in Rutgers’ historic 28-25 victory over Louisville. His sophomore season in 2007 saw him amass 1,232 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, leading all Division I-A sophomores in receiving yards and yards per reception. He continued this performance into the 2008 season, leading the Big East in receiving yards for the second consecutive year and earning a spot on the Associated Press Third-team All-America. Britt concluded his collegiate career by declaring for the NFL Draft after his junior year, leaving Rutgers as one of its most decorated wide receivers.

Britt was drafted by the Tennessee Titans as the 30th overall pick in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft, making him the first Rutgers player ever selected in the first round. During his rookie season, he recorded 42 receptions for 701 receiving yards and three touchdowns. A standout moment arrived in 2010 when he achieved 225 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a single game against the Philadelphia Eagles. After five seasons with the Titans, Britt joined the St. Louis Rams in 2014, where he spent three years. In 2016, he became the first Rams wide receiver since 2007 to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in a season, finishing with 68 receptions for 1,002 yards and five touchdowns. He subsequently played for the Cleveland Browns and the New England Patriots, concluding his NFL career in 2017 with 329 receptions, 5,137 receiving yards, and 32 touchdowns over 116 games.
