Multi-award winning voice actress Kimberly Brooks has been a major name in the industry for nearly 25 years. During that time, she has won numerous BVTA Awards (both alone and as part of an ensemble) and has voiced characters in major television series and video games, including Mass Effect, Voltron: The Defender, Call of Duty, Minecraft, World of Warcraft, and countless others. In 2021, she began voicing Teela and Teela Na in Netflix’s major reimagining of the classic 1980s series, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
Brooks’ first voice roles came in the mid-late 1990s when she voiced several characters in the cult kids cartoon series Dexter’s Laboratory. This was soon followed by her first venture into video games, most notably voicing the computer in two of the hugely successful Dark Reign series. As her reputation grew, she added major franchises like Star Wars, Batman, Scooby Doo, The Rugrats, and The Wild Thornberrys to her resume. However, she had to wait until 2013 to win her first award when she became a joint recipient of the BVTA People’s Choice Best Vocal Ensemble in a Video Game Award for her work on Mass Effect 3, an enormously popular video game that also won many Best Game of the Year awards and accolades. The same year, she also won her first solo award: The BVTA for Best Female Voice Performance in a Video Game in a Supporting Role (for voicing Daisy Fitzroy in Bioshock: Infinite).
Able to turn her skills equally to television series for young children and dark video games for discerning adults, Brooks is the consummate professional voice actor.
