Kimberly Kimble, born on December 24, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois, developed an interest in fashion and beauty at a young age. Growing up, she spent time playing with magazine cut-outs and paper dolls. After completing beauty school, she began her career working at her mother’s salon. Kimble represents the third generation of hairstylists in her family, building on a foundation of inherited expertise and early hands-on experience.
Kimble’s career gained significant momentum when she worked with Halle Berry on the film “B*A*P*S” in 1997. This project provided her with initial entry into the celebrity styling sphere. Her work and innovative techniques have been featured in prominent publications such as Vanity Fair, Essence, Glamour, and Vogue. In 2012, Kimble further expanded her public profile by starring in the reality television series “L.A. Hair” on WE tv, which aired until 2017. Her professional journey also includes creating her own product lines, such as K2 Beauty in 2013, to complement her Kimble Beauty brand.
More recently, Kimble has taken on the role of head of the hair department for the HBO television series “Euphoria” starting with Season 2. Throughout her career, she has styled numerous high-profile clients, including Beyoncé, Zendaya, Brandy Norwood, Kelly Rowland, Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige, Halle Berry, and Shakira. She has been the primary stylist for Beyoncé on various projects, including her film, television, and music endeavors, spanning over two decades.
