Kortney Wilson’s career in entertainment began in 1994 performing as Annie with Royal City Musical Productions in Guelph, leading to a management deal with Scream Marketing and a publishing deal with Scream Music Publishing in Nashville in 1998, where she collaborated with artists like Reba McEntire. In 2001, performing as Kortney Kayle, she released two singles on Lyric Street Records, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ and ‘Unbroken by You.’ The latter achieved significant success, reaching No. 50 on the US Hot Country Songs chart. During this period, Wilson also appeared on the popular soap opera ‘One Life to Live’ in 2001, and co-wrote Ryan Tyler’s 2003 single ‘Run, Run, Run.’ Following her music career, Wilson successfully transitioned into real estate and television.
Beyond television, Wilson developed her personal brand, Kortney Wilson Group, and established Kort & Co., a comprehensive furniture and design business. This venture includes a furniture line with The Brick and a contract with The Shopping Channel, demonstrating her influence in home aesthetics.
