Kristen Schaal is an American actress, comedian, and writer known for her distinctive voice acting and comedic roles across television, film, and live performance. After being recognized as one of ‘The Ten Funniest New Yorkers You’ve Never Heard Of’ by New York magazine in 2005, Kristen Schaal quickly established herself as a formidable talent in live comedy and television. Her distinct comedic voice earned her numerous accolades, including the Andy Kaufman Award in 2005, ‘Best Alternative Comedian’ at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in 2006, ‘Best Female Stand-up’ at the 2006 Nightlife Awards, and ‘Best Female Stand Up Comedian’ at the 2007 ECNY Awards.
