Lil Wyte’s debut album, ‘Doubt Me Now,’ released in 2003 through Hypnotize Minds, achieved significant independent success, selling over 135,000 copies. This pivotal release featured collaborations with prominent artists including Juvenile, Three 6 Mafia, Frayser Boy, La Chat, and Josey Scott, and spawned popular tracks such as ‘Oxy Cotton,’ ‘My Smoking Song,’ and ‘Acid.’ Prior to his solo breakthrough, Lil Wyte’s talent caught the attention of influential Memphis group Three 6 Mafia, with Juicy J and DJ Paul formally signing him. In 2002, he made a notable appearance on Project Pat’s track ‘Crash da Club’ from the acclaimed album ‘Layin’ da Smack Down,’ setting the stage for his impactful career. Following his successful debut, Lil Wyte maintained a consistent and prolific presence in the Southern hip-hop scene.

Demonstrating his collaborative prowess, Lil Wyte engaged in extensive joint projects, most notably with Jelly Roll on several albums: ‘Year Round’ in 2011 (with BPZ as SNO), ‘No Filter’ in 2013, and ‘No Filter 2’ in 2016. Further showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit, he established his independent record label, Wyte Music, broadening his influence in the industry. Beyond his extensive musical releases, Lil Wyte expanded his entrepreneurial endeavors by creating his own distinctive medical cannabis strain, OG WYTE Kush, a unique blend of OG Kush, White Widow, and Grand Daddy Purp, which is available in multiple states. His consistent output continued with additional collaborative projects such as ‘B.A.R.

His recent work includes the 2023 collaboration ‘Family Recipe’ with Wild Bill, further cementing his enduring presence in the rap landscape.
