Celebrated international archer Linda Ochoa-Anderson is a world-class athlete. Champion of her profession, world traveller and avid fan of the outdoors, there is much to like about Ochoa-Anderson.
Winner of 20 Hyundai Archery World cups and three world championships are just a handful of Ochoa – Anderson’s achievements. While playing for her native Mexico, her career launched with her international debut at the World Archery Championships in 2003. Ochoa – Anderson has been a regular face since. She made a career-high of number two in 2016 at the Women’s World Rankings. She is also part of Team Easton and often wields their various innovative products, such as the X23 Easton shaft. In 2018 Ochoa – Anderson became a world record holder. She landed an arrow in the X ring, securing her the compound archery women’s world record, a feat she always dreamt of achieving.
Famously, Ochoa – Anderson found her future husband, Steve Anderson- USA professional champion – while competing at the World Games in Columbia. The couple often compete in the same tournaments all around the world; travelling, learning and celebrating together.
After taking a 12-month hiatus, Ochoa – Anderson will mark her return in the 2020 Hyundai Archery World Cup circuit. She has not competed internationally since her glorious 2018 finish for second place for Mexico. Ochoa – Anderson’s welcome addition to the USA team will strengthen and push for their collective future triumphs.
