Leading Broadcast journalist and author Liza Fromer is the former host of the popular Canadian breakfast programme The Morning Show.
As the former host of The national breakfast programme, The Morning Show for CityTV, Fromer spent five years on the show, during which time she interviewed some of the country’s top politicians, well known public figures and celebrities. With a degree in Radio and Television from Ryerson University, Fromer has since become a renowned broadcast journalist. She has gone on to co-create and host her primetime special, Intimate with Liza Fromer, in which she enjoys one-to-one conversations with exceptional personalities, famed around the world. She has also hosted shows for A-Channel, YTV, The Weather Network, The Discovery Channel, SLICE networks The List and has previously reported for Newspath Los Angeles on CBS. Off the television screen, Fromer has interviewed countless celebs in front of live audiences including Whoopi Goldberg and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Amongst her many talents, Fromer is a sought-after keynote speaker and a published children’s author. A co-writer alongside Francine Gerstein, her series of books The Bodyworks helps children learn about their bodies and how they work. In 2005 Fromer also appeared on the cover of Today’s Bride following her wedding. Of her philanthropy work, Fromer previously travelled to East Africa where she documented the struggles faced by orphaned and abandoned children in Tanzania for SOS Children’s Villages, an international charity, alongside spokesperson Mike Holmes.
