Catie Offerman

Catie Offerman, born and raised on a horse ranch in New Braunfels, Texas, began her musical journey as a homeschooled teenager. Her passion for music led her to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, from which she graduated at the age of 19. During her early career, she was mentored by fiddler Bobby Flores, who helped her develop her skills and cultivate her appreciation for Western swing music. Offerman’s dedication to her craft was evident through her consistent efforts as a fiddle player performing at various gigs and festivals.

Her career progressed with significant milestones in the Nashville music scene. Around five years after graduating from Berklee, she signed an exclusive publishing deal with Universal Music Group Publishing in 2018. This partnership allowed her to further develop her songwriting and expand her presence in the industry. Her talent caught the attention of Universal Music Group Nashville CEO Mike Dungan, leading to a record deal with UMG Nashville in 2020. This period marked a transition for Offerman from primarily an instrumentalist to a recognized singer-songwriter.

Offerman has released singles such as “I Just Killed a Man” and “OK Cowboy.” Her music is characterized by a blend of acoustic guitars, fiddle, mandolin, and steel guitar, maintaining a classic country sound. She has collaborated with artists like Hayes Carll on her song “Ask Me to Dance” and has written with individuals such as Ryan Beaver. A notable achievement in her career includes opening for George Strait, an artist she admired from a young age.
