United Kingdom Luke Spiller is the charismatic lead singer of the British glam rock band The Struts, known for his dynamic stage presence and powerful vocals.
The Struts signed with the leading independent record label Big Machine Label Group, a subsidiary of HYBE America.

Luke Spiller was raised in Bristol, England, in a Christian family. His early exposure to music was primarily gospel until the age of seven when he discovered Michael Jackson’s album *Off the Wall*. This led to aspirations of becoming a contemporary dancer. By age 11, his musical interests expanded to include bands like Led Zeppelin, Queen, AC/DC, and Leonard Cohen. He began playing in bands as a teenager, starting to sing at 16. In 2009, Spiller met guitarist and songwriter Adam Slack. Their shared musical direction led Spiller to move to Derby, where they collaborated on writing and recording for almost three years. In 2012, after recruiting bassist Jed Elliott and drummer Gethin Davies, they formed The Struts.
The band quickly gained attention for their glam rock sound and Spiller’s distinct stage persona. They released their debut single, “I Just Know,” in June 2012, followed by the four-track EP *Kiss This*. The Struts toured extensively in the UK and France, and by 2014, they performed for 80,000 people as the opening act for The Rolling Stones in Paris. Spiller’s performance style and outfits, designed by Zandra Rhodes (who also dressed Freddie Mercury), became a notable aspect of their shows. That same year, Spiller was recruited by Mike Oldfield to sing main vocals on his album, *Man on the Rocks*, showcasing his vocal range beyond the band.
In early 2015, The Struts signed with Interscope Records/Polydor and released their first U.S. EP, *Have You Heard*. Their lead single, “Could Have Been Me,” achieved significant success, reaching No. 1 on the Spotify Viral Top 50 and No. 4 on the iTunes rock singles chart. The band relocated to Los Angeles and made their American television debut on *Jimmy Kimmel Live!* in August 2015. They continued to build their reputation as a formidable live act, opening for major artists such as Guns N’ Roses (2016), The Who (2017), and Foo Fighters (2017), solidifying their presence in the international rock scene. They have released four studio albums, with *Pretty Vicious* arriving in 2023.
