Makaylah Lanvin is known as the Princess of Philadelphia due to her presence and achievements in the Philadelphia Ballroom Scene, and she is best known for her work as a member of the House of Larvin on Season one of HBO show Legendary. Legendary is a voguing reality competition which has judges including Jameela Jahil and Megan Thee Stallion.

Makaylah has worked with artists such as Sam Smith, and contributes her creativity to her grandmother, who was so kind as to have block parties where anyone in the community was allowed to attend, as well as helping members of the town prepare for a wake for free. Makaylah was known on the House of Larvin for her intergalactic looks with extremely colourful makeup to match her personality.

Makaylah has featured in legendary publications within the community such as Gaye, Paper, Ellie and even Vogue, as well as recently working with Megan Thee Stallion on her new music video for Don’t Stop. Makaylah has achieved such success with the House of Larvin that she is almost unparalleled within the ballroom voguing scene.When Makaylah isn’t working, she can be seen partying with A-List celebrities, or hosting speaking events to discuss her inspirational life journey. Makaylah loves to give back to the community, and in the spirit of her grandmother can often be found lifting others up, encouraging her 24 thousand following to also give back to the community that has helped so many cope with loss and trauma.
