Mark Roman

Mark Roman is a Managing Partner for Education, an entrepreneur, and an author with extensive experience in digital transformation and IT strategy. After rising to Associate Partner at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Mark Roman transitioned into entrepreneurship, co-founding Ameritech Health Connections and Health Network Ventures. These technology-driven ventures, initially funded by $10 million in seed capital from Ameritech Corporation and Aurora Health Systems, focused on creating Health Information Networks. Under his leadership, these companies achieved a remarkable $250 million annual revenue run rate within four years, significantly streamlining the exchange of laboratory and insurance information between hospitals and physician offices.

Additionally, he is a co-founder of DeNovo Advisors LLC, which provides operational diligence services to private equity, venture capital firms, and family offices. As an author, Roman has published ‘Conquering the Boundaries of Friendship – Making and maintaining meaningful Male Relationships,’ and is actively developing his next book, ‘You’re Cured – the definitive guide to the healing process for patients and caregivers.’ Mark Roman’s significant contributions were recognized in 2021 when Top 100 Magazine named him one of the 100 most influential business leaders in North America. He further extends his impact through dedicated board service, currently holding the position of Chairman of the Board of The Jamestown Rediscovery Foundation and serving on the Advisory Board of Lightsense Technologies. Committed to continuous professional development, Roman holds a professional certificate in Private Equity and Venture Capital from Bocconi University and another in business strategy from the London Business School.
