Mica Hughes

Reality television star, actor, model and host Mica Hughes is best known for starring in Bravo’s Blood Sweat and Heels. Hughes was a breakout star of the reality TV show which first aired in 2014 and ran for two seasons, focussing on the lives of successful women in New York City. The show received 2.5 million viewers during the first episode of series 1 (the best ever ratings for a Bravo premiere) shooting Hughes and her cast mates into the limelight overnight. Both before and after finding fame on the show, Hughes has used her brains, beauty and ambition to excellent use in a number of entrepreneurial ventures. She is the founder of several successful businesses: high-end relaxation spa Mica 2M SPA, model search company Models in Motion and leading modelling agency Mica Models.

Before becoming a fan favourite on Blood Sweat and Heels Hughes earned a degree from the University of Maryland College Park and worked at a local news reporter. Her natural good looks were spotted by a modelling scout who helped launch her modelling and acting career, and she became a top model with both Ford Models and Wilhelmina Models, travelling across Europe working for the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel and Oscar de la Renta. Her experience as a model herself gave her the perfect platform to launch her own businesses in the fashion industry becoming the successful entrepreneur that she is today.

When Hughes isn’t busy running her businesses or working as an in-demand host, she loves to sing and has ambitions to pursue a career in music.
