Michelle Gulyás

Michelle Gulyás is a Hungarian modern pentathlete and Olympic gold medalist who also serves as a criminal detective for the Hungarian Police. After earning a bronze medal in the individual event at the 3rd Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires in 2018, Michelle Gulyás went on to secure a silver medal in the mixed relay at the UIPM 2018 Pentathlon World Championships in Mexico City the same year. Her consistent performance trajectory continued into 2021, achieving a gold medal at the UIPM 2021 Pentathlon World Cup II in Sofia. That same year, Gulyás demonstrated her prowess at the UIPM 2021 Pentathlon World Championships in Cairo, where she won a bronze medal in the individual event and a silver medal in the team competition.

This historic victory marked Hungary’s first modern pentathlon Olympic gold medal since 2004. Beyond her extraordinary athletic achievements, Gulyás serves in public service as a criminal detective with the Hungarian Police, showcasing a diverse and impactful professional portfolio. Her future engagements include the UIPM 2025 Pentathlon World Cup in Budapest, where she is already listed as a gold medalist.
