Mike Gamson led a global sales team of over 5,000 individuals as part of the executive team at LinkedIn for 11 years, generating more than $5 billion in revenue leading up to the company’s $26 billion acquisition by Microsoft. This significant tenure was built upon over 20 years of experience in recruitment, sales, and product marketing across diverse sectors, establishing his expertise in scaling high-performance teams and driving substantial revenue growth. Following his impactful period at LinkedIn, Gamson transitioned to Relativity, a prominent legal technology company. He initially joined Relativity’s advisory board in 2017, providing key strategic insights into the company’s operations and team dynamics.
In 2019, he assumed the role of CEO at Relativity, guiding the company through a period of accelerated growth that resulted in a $3.6 billion valuation with backing from leading investment firms Silver Lake and ICONIQ. As CEO, he spearheaded critical initiatives including securing FedRAMP authorization for RelativityOne Government in 2020 and announcing a new RelativityOne subscription plan in 2022. He was also instrumental in the launch of Rel Labs, an investment arm and innovation hub within Relativity. More recently, Gamson served as the CEO of Evozyne, an AI biotechnology company dedicated to developing novel proteins for applications in therapeutics and sustainability.
He has continued to build on his entrepreneurial and investment prowess as a co-founder and managing partner at Permanent Capital Partners. Beyond his corporate leadership, Gamson is an active angel investor, having advised over 100 companies in various stages of growth. Gamson is also a committed contributor to the non-profit sector, lending his expertise to organizations such as One-Goal, P33, and Green Schoolyards America.
