Morgan Strebler is an American mentalist, psychological illusionist, actor, author, and director. He has performed his magic feats to more than a million people worldwide and is the youngest magician to ever have caught a live bullet with his teeth. He has won several of the International Magic Foundation’s prestigious Merlin awards, including Mentalist of the Year and Cabaret Magician of the Year. He has also performed for some of the world’s biggest names, including Michael Jackson, Tom Hanks, Ben Stiller, Quentin Tarantino, Michael Jordan, Ice T, and David Blaine — to name just a few. Among his recent projects are writing, directing, and appearing in a fan film entitled Superman vs Doomsday.
Strebler was born in the city of Sikeston, Missouri in 1976 — the town would later name a day in his honour. His acting and magic careers started when he was young. He began practising magic aged seven after seeing a show by the legendary rabbit-from-a-hat magician Harry Blackstone Jr. Aged eight, he appeared in an episode of iconic kids’ show Sesame Street. Over the years, he worked his way up the showbiz ladder, performing at every function and event he could and working all kinds of odd jobs to pay his way. He eventually found success in the early 2000s with his “Liquid Metal” routine, which made his name. It also became the name of the production company he founded in 2011, which looks after a roster of other talented magicians. He has always kept his hand in acting and can be spotted as an extra in major movies such as Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Gone Girl.
