Naw Phaw Eh Htar

Naw Phaw Eh Htar was born on January 19, 1996, in Taunggyi, Shan State, Myanmar. She is of ethnic Pa’O and Karen descent. Her academic background includes a B.A. in French language from Mandalay University of Foreign Languages in 2018 and a Diploma in Business Management from SHRM College in Singapore in 2019. Her entry into the entertainment industry began during her university years when she was crowned campus beauty queen.

Following her graduation, Naw Phaw Eh Htar engaged in various creative endeavors, including music video productions, photo shoots, and wedding fairs. She also featured in an educational web series for youth, demonstrating her early versatility. Her breakthrough came when she was selected as the brand model for SAI Cosmetix by Sai Sai Kham Leng. This venture into modeling and commercial acting attracted attention from the film industry, leading to acting opportunities. She made her acting debut in the MRTV-4 series “The Missing Truth” in 2019, where her portrayal of the character Thudra was well-received by audiences.

In the same year, Naw Phaw Eh Htar appeared in the documentary series “Mythical Myanmar Bagan,” which explored the ancient city of Bagan alongside May Toe Khine. She expanded her filmography by starring in the horror film “Ma Phae Wah,” a collaboration with Thailand directed by Pakphum Wonjinda. Her big-screen debut occurred in 2023 with the film “Deli Taxi Love,” where she acted alongside Hlwan Paing and Shin Mway La. Additionally, Naw Phaw Eh Htar has secured brand ambassadorships, including roles with Telenor Myanmar, Sunkist, and Free Fire.
