New Hope Club, a British pop trio, gained recognition for their blend of pop, rock, and indie influences, achieving chart success and touring internationally. After garnering significant attention with their October 2015 cover of The Vamps’ ‘Wake Up,’ the British pop trio New Hope Club, comprised of Reece Bibby, Blake Richardson, and George Smith, signed with Steady Records, a subsidiary of Virgin EMI Records, in December 2015. Bibby, a former member of the boy band Stereo Kicks, joined the group in November 2015. New Hope Club released their debut 4-song EP, ‘Welcome to the Club,’ through Hollywood Records via Steady Records on May 5, 2017.
In June 2022, they released the multi-track single featuring ‘Getting Better’ and ‘Girl Who Does Both,’ which preceded their extensive ‘Getting Better Tour,’ with sold-out dates across the UK, US, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. Expanding into new creative avenues, Blake Richardson made his onscreen debut in 2023, portraying Paul McCartney in the film ‘Midas Man.’ New Hope Club continued their musical output with the release of their album ‘Getting Better’ on July 5, 2024. The band announced an indefinite hiatus on February 4, 2025.
