About

Nick Cody began his career in comedy, quickly establishing himself as a prominent figure in the Australian stand-up scene. He has a distinctive comedic style that combines laid-back delivery with frank observations on everyday life and personal experiences. Cody has performed at major comedy festivals globally, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival in Australia, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the invite-only Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, the New York Comedy Festival, and the Johannesburg Comedy Festival. His stand-up specials include “Nick Cody – Here’s Trouble” (2014) and “What Of It?” (2017), which aired on ABC. His international visibility increased significantly after performing on Conan O’Brien’s late-night talk show, making him one of a select few Australians to appear on the program, and performing stand-up on the US television network Comedy Central.

Cody expanded his media career into radio, joining Triple M Brisbane in 2019 as a host on “The Big Breakfast” show. The program achieved the #1 radio rating in Brisbane by 2020. His success in radio continued when he moved to the Fox FM Breakfast team in Melbourne in 2021, joining Fifi Box and Brendan Fevola to form “Fifi, Fev & Nick.” This show reached #1 in September 2023 and consistently ranks as a top-tier breakfast radio program in a competitive market. Beyond radio, he co-hosts the “Mid Flight Brawl” podcast with Luke Heggie, which focuses on various air travel incidents and frequently conducts live recordings across Australia. In 2018, Cody made his feature film debut, appearing as Goober in the Australian movie “The Merger.”

In addition to his stand-up and radio commitments, Nick Cody has an extensive list of television credits, including appearances as a stand-up comedian on “CONAN,” “Melbourne Comedy Festival OXFAM Gala,” “Opening Night Allstars Gala,” “Comedy Up Late,” and “Just For Laughs.” He has also served as a panelist on popular shows such as “The Project,” “Have You Been Paying Attention,” “Talking ‘Bout Your Generation,” “Hughesy, We Have a Problem,” and “AFL’s The Kick.” As an actor, he has featured in “Please Like Me,” “KINNE,” and “The Wizards Of Aus.” Cody has also represented brands, notably becoming an ambassador for Carlton Dry and Kayo Sports, the latter involving a trip to Abu Dhabi for UFC 308 in 2024, where he engaged with fighters like Max Holloway, Robert Whittaker, and Khamzat Chimaev. He has also performed for Australian Defence Force troops in Afghanistan, the UAE, and onboard the HMAS Melbourne.
