One of the most successful niche artists to have emerged from the anime phenomenon is None Like Joshua, a Florida-based anime rapper who raps about his favourite anime shows. He has become hugely successful doing this, building a following of well over half a million followers and subscribers across various platforms. He uploads a fresh track to his YouTube channel almost weekly and his content on there has been watched more than 182 million times. His work has also been streamed millions of times on Spotify, where he has released an uncountable number of singles, the most recent of which include ‘Falling for You’, ‘Hidden’ and ‘No Justice No Peace’.
Little is known of None Like Joshua’s backstory, although he has been creating anime-themed hip-hop music for more than a decade now and shows no signs of slowing up. His most popular tracks and content covers anime series such as My Hero Academia and Seven Deadly Sins. He has also ventured into non-anime content with raps out the Mario Bros and a Rick & Morty dubstep rap that has been watched 19 million times on YouTube.
