With a passion for all things sailing and outdoors, First Mate Paget Berry has spent most of his life on the water, seeing the world and following his passions. The fitness enthusiast is best known for his television appearance on the first season of Bravo’s new series Below Deck Sailing Yacht in 2020. Born and raised in England, Paget fell in love with sailing at the age of 13.

At only 18 he hopped onboard a 27m sailboat in Spain, joining the crew for a three year long adventure exploring every single part of the Mediterranean. During this time Paget worked his way up from deckhand to First Mate, learning invaluable lessons along the way and strengthening his love and passion for sailing every day spent on the water. The Englishman has even lived on multiple vessels including sailing yachts, catamarans, a converted oil barge and incredibly, a lifeboat. Following his three year journey Paget took up the position of First Captain on a sailing catamaran, on which he met his future girlfriend who’s family owned the boat.

The passionate sailor introduced his new love Ciara Duggat to the yachting industry and the pair started working on the Parsifal together. The couple even founded a recruitment company together, Onboard CV, which they both still run. In 2020 the pair began their television journey on Below Deck. On the show Paget held the position of First Officer onboard the Parsifal III which toured around Greece. When he isn’t manning the helm Paget is an avid weightlifter, surfer, diver and guitarist.
