Phoebe Tonkin

Phoebe Tonkin has established a career in acting, spanning both Australian and international productions, recognized for her versatile performances from fantasy television to dramatic film roles. After gaining early international recognition in December 2005 when she was cast as Cleo Sertori in the Australian children’s television series H2O: Just Add Water, Phoebe Tonkin quickly solidified her standing in global entertainment. The series, which premiered in July 2006 on Network Ten, achieved international syndication, reaching over 250 million viewers worldwide. Tonkin promoted the series by presenting at the Nickelodeon UK Kids’ Choice Awards in October 2007.

Her breakout performance earned her a nomination for ‘Best Lead Actress in a Television Series’ at the Australian Film Institute Awards in 2008, before the show’s three-season run concluded in April 2010. Expanding into film, Tonkin made her cinematic debut in Tomorrow, When the War Began and was cast in the 3D horror film Bait 3D, both in 2010. In January 2011, Tonkin relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an international acting career, swiftly securing a role as Faye Chamberlain in The CW’s supernatural drama series The Secret Circle in March 2011. The series premiered in September 2011 to 3.5 million viewers.
