P.J. Carlesimo is a distinguished American basketball coach with a remarkable career spanning nearly four decades in both the NBA and college basketball. He began his coaching journey as an assistant at Fordham University, where he played under the legendary Digger Phelps. His first head coaching role came at New Hampshire College, where he led the team to a Mayflower Conference championship in 1976, showcasing his ability to develop talent and foster competitive teams.
