Ramandeep Singh was born on April 13, 1997, in Chandigarh, India. His cricket career began with his Twenty20 debut for Punjab in the 2016–17 Inter State Twenty-20 Tournament on January 29, 2017. He continued his progression in domestic cricket, making his List A debut on October 5, 2019, for Punjab in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Singh then made his first-class debut on February 12, 2020, for Punjab in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy, establishing himself across all formats of domestic cricket.

Singh’s talent caught the attention of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises. In February 2022, he was acquired by the Mumbai Indians in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League. Following this, he joined the Kolkata Knight Riders and was part of the team that won the Indian Premier League in 2024. His consistent performances led to his international debut for India, playing two Twenty20 Internationals against South Africa in November 2024.

Throughout his career, Ramandeep Singh has shown versatility as a middle-order batter and a medium-pace bowler. His domestic career with Punjab has seen him contribute significantly across Twenty20, List A, and first-class matches. His journey from domestic tournaments to the IPL and eventually to the national team highlights his dedication and skill in professional cricket. On a personal note, Ramandeep Singh married Indian actress Charlie Chauhan on August 7, 2026.
