During his tenure with Vitória de Guimarães from 2016 to 2018, he solidified a starting position before transferring to Sporting CP in 2018. With Sporting CP (2018-2019), Raphinha was instrumental in winning both the Taça de Portugal and Taça da Liga in 2019.
