Ghanaian mixed martial artist Razak Alhassan currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and has fought in 15 professional matches since 2013.
Alhassan originally trained in judo, training in the combat sport for over 22 years. He is a black belt in the martial art, and in 2013 decided to transition into mixed martial arts. He made an explosive start to his professional career, winning his first fight via technical knockout in the first 25 seconds and amassing a winning streak of seven in his first seven bouts. He was then spotted and signed by the Ultimate FIghting Championship where he has competed ever since. Alhassan made his debut with the promotion in 2016, winning via knockout in the first minute of the match and being awarded the Performance of the Night honours on his first match with the UFC. He has since won two more Performance of the Night Awards and has become known for his power in the ring. He has won 11 of his 15 fights via knockout, only losing four matches in his professional career and becoming known as a formidable fighter and fierce competitor.
Most recently, Alhassan has won his bout against Alessio Di Chirico for which he was also awarded Performance of the Night. He is scheduled to appear at UFC FIght Night 200 and fans eagerly await his next appearance.
