After founding ‘Man For Himself,’ an influential online resource dedicated to men’s grooming, in April 2013, Robin James has built a significant digital footprint, reaching over 620,000 individuals globally. This entrepreneurial venture was built upon a robust foundation in broadcast journalism and digital strategy, honed through roles at major media outlets. James served as a Video Journalist for MSN in 2010 and then as a Reporter and Interactive Producer for Channel 4’s ‘Seven Days’ in 2010.
He progressed to Senior Content Producer at ITV from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, James took on the role of Lead Social Producer for ‘The X Factor’ with Somethin’ Else. Demonstrating his recognized authority in men’s lifestyle, he also served as a Contributing Men’s Editor for InStyle from September 2016 to September 2017, and as a Men’s Style and Grooming Columnist for the Evening Standard from May 2018 to May 2019. Deepening his practical industry knowledge, James earned an NVQ2 Diploma in Barbering with Distinction from the London School of Barbering between 2017 and 2018.
